Protests at oil terminals in Essex suspended for now
Just Stop Oil says it's halting protests for now
Just Stop Oil says action at oil terminals across Essex has been suspended for now to give the Prime Minister a chance to respond to their calls.
The group has been causing disruption in the county since the 1st April with hundreds of arrests made in connection with action.
Campaigners have written a letter, which will be delivered to Number 10 today, outlining that disruption is being suspended until the 25th April to give the Prime Minister the chance to make a statement on behalf of the Government in response to their calls for an end to oil and gas usage in the UK.
