Jury finds man not guilty of rape

A man who denied ten charges relating to an incident in Colchester has been found not guilty on all counts.
Kamen Lawrence, aged 32 and of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of rape, four counts of assault by penetration, one count of sexual assault and one count of false imprisonment.
The charges relate to an incident reported to Essex Police in April 2020.
A jury has found him not guilty on all charges, after a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
