Daughter's plea to give Jaywick woman send-off she deserves
Michelle Cooper died after sustaining serious head injuries in an attack last month
After a woman died in Jaywick, her family are asking for your help to give her the send-off she deserves.
Michelle Cooper was left with fatal head injuries after an attack on Beach Way just over two weeks ago.
The 40-year-old mum passed away after she slipped into a coma from her injuries.
Now her daughter is asking for the community's help to raise £4,000 for Michelle's funeral, describing her mum as a beautiful soul.
She said:
"My mother was such a beautiful soul, sprinkling her amazing fun filled energy where ever she went.
"She loved life, and she lived it too the fullest, was always willing to help anyone in need.
"Anyone who ever crossed paths with my mum loved her automatically, she was always such a positive person and a friend to everyone. She would lift people up even when she was down.
"She was so loved by so many people, and has left a tremendous hole in all of our hearts.
"My mum gave so much and never asked for anything in return, my only wish is she has the best send off that she truly deserves."

A man has been charged with Ms Cooper's murder - five others have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail.
