Investigation opened after woman's death in Maldon

Police have opened an investigation and are appealing for information, after the death of a woman in Heybridge.

Officers and colleagues from the ambulance service were called to an address in Hillary Close, on yesterday (10 July), after concerns for the welfare of a woman.

A woman in her 40s had died at the scene.

Her death is being treated as unexpected and officers have launched an investigation.

This investigation is at a very early stage and police say they/re progressing a number of lines of enquiry.
