Investigation launched after boy collides with car in Brentwood and driver fails to stop

Officers investigating a crash between a boy and a car in Brentwood are asking for the public’s help.
Police were called at 8.20am today after a collision in Pondfield Lane.
The driver of a dark-coloured Fiesta collided with a teenage boy as he crossed the road using the crossing.
The car failed to stop and left the scene.
The boy sustained a leg injury.
Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to check their dashcam to see if they have captured anything that could help the investigation.
