Firefighters have been at the scene of a warehouse fire on High Road, Epping.

It is a warehouse measuring approximately 100m by 30m, consisting of four units. Two units were fully alight.

Crews from Harlow (two), Waltham Abbey, Loughton, Old Harlow, Leaden Roding and Brentwood were in attendance, as well as an aerial ladder platform, a drone pilot and a water bowser.

Incident Commander Howard Midwood said: "When crews arrived they were faced with a well developed fire in a large warehouse. They have worked hard to stop the fire from spreading.

"I'd like to thank the local residents for their patience while we deal with this incident. As well as the site owners, our Control Operators, and colleagues from the Police, Ambulance Service and UK Power Network for their support during the incident.

"A full fire investigation will be carried out when it is safe to do so."
