Woman in life threatening condition following serious collision in Waltham Abbey.

Essex Police have launched an investigation following a serious collision in Waltham Abbey early this morning.
It is reported to have happened at about 4.30am today, Sunday 19 May; officers responded to calls of a single vehicle collision in Avey Lane.
As a result, a woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to be life-threatening.
Police inform that a 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
The road is currently closed while our roads policing officers carry out their investigations at the scene.
