Greater Anglia services resume after death on tracks

Train services between Essex and Hertfordshire have resumed, after someone died on train tracks near Broxbourne.

In a statement, British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to the line near Broxbourne railway station at around 6am this morning (9 October), following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
