Girl left with 'life changing injuries' in Colchester crash

A car driver failed to stop at the scene on Sunday night

A teenage girl has been left with potentially life-changing injuries, after a crash in Colchester last night.

Police had been called to Magnolia Drive to reports of a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The driver of a car had failed to stop at the scene.

Officers attended the scene shortly after 5pm.

The vehicle involved in the collision, described as being an orange Peugeot, failed to stop at the scene.

Anyone with information about the driver of this vehicle, or anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have relevant CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to call Essex Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101.

The incident number to quote is 840 of 28 March.
