There's been a gas explosion in Grays.

Police were called to an address in Southend Road at around 2.25pm this afternoon (5 February).

No one is believed to have been hurt and no structural damage to the building has been reported, but several vehicles have been damaged.

The road is likely to remain closed for several hours.
