Heavy rain causes flooding and disruption across Essex
Emergency services have received hundreds of flood-related calls overnight.
People are being urged to take care on the roads in Essex after heavy rain caused flooding and disruption across the county overnight.
Essex Fire Service says they had received over 120 calls about flooding by 2am on Thursday 21st October, police also tweeted to say they'd been busier due to the weather.
The Environment Agency issued a number of flood alerts and warning's in Essex, particularly in coastal areas.
For those who's homes are at risk of flooding, Essex Fire has advised checking drains are unblocked, turn off electrics, and take possessions upstairs where possible.
The advice is not to try and make it through flooded roads, and instead turn around and find an alternative route.
