Five rescued by firefighters after M11 crash

Crews from ECFRS were called yesterday just before 6pm

5 people have been rescued by Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, after a crash on the M11 involving three cars.

Firefighters were called to the southbound carriageway near Audley End, between junction 9 and junction 8 yesterday (November 26) at around 5:52pm.

Three cars were involved, with five casualties trapped inside one of the vehicles.

One had cuts to their face and two had chest pains.

They were freed by ECFRS and left in the care of the Ambulance Service just after 7pm.
