Five men charged over North Weald shooting

Five men have been charged in connection with a shooting in North Weald last year.

On February 12th 2023, in the early hours of the morning around 1am reports were filed to Essex Police of shots being fired at a vehicle in High Road, North Weald.

Six warrants were executed across Essex and into London by Essex Police's Operations Support Group and Serious Organised Crime Unit last Thursday, with charges now issued for five men.

Michael Kadiri, 26, of Danbury Road, Loughton, charged with Conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, Conspiracy to possess ammunition.

Jay Hunt, 19, Auriel Avenue, Dagenham, charged with Conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Conspiracy to possess ammunition, Handling Stolen goods and Possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

Rocco Coakley, 20, of Brook Road, Loughton, charged with charged with Conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Conspiracy to possess ammunition.

Humberto Frade, 18, of Fords Park Road, London, E16, charged with charged with Conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Conspiracy to possess ammunition.

Kyle Kadiri, 21, of Danbury Road, Loughton, charged with being concerned in the supply of a cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.

All five have been released on conditional bail, after appearing at Chelmsford Magistrates Court last Saturday (March 2).
