Firefighters extinguish barn fire in Ramsey

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service have extinguished a barn fire in Ramsey.

Last night around 8:30pm, crews were called to a large fire near Rectory Lane, after a number of reports from locals.

The metal built building was found alight, put out by firefighters by 10:20pm.

Crew remained on the scene to ensure hot spots were extinguished.
