Ten fire crews attend farm fire in Essex

Essex County fire service were called to a fire on Marsh Road in Burnham on Crouch at around 4pm on Friday 24th January.

Ten fire crews attended on Friday with six remaining overnight.

They remain at the farm monitoring hotspots the morning after.

Station manager Scott Fretton said the building was completely alight.

Residents in the area were warned to keep their windows and doors shut due to the amount of smoke it produced.

There are no reported injuries and an investigation will be carried out when the fire is completely extinguished.
