Family pay tribute to man killed in Stapleford Tawney crash

The family of a man killed in a crash in Stapleford Tawney last month have paid tribute to him saying he is 'greatly missed'.

Police were called to reports of a serious crash on Tawney Lane near Passingford Bridge on Sunday 27th February.

Two cars and a motorbike rider were involved.

The man riding the bike, 26 year-old Jagjivan Chana from Middlesex died at the scene.

In a tribute, Mr Chana’s family said: “Jivan, as he was known, was a dearly loved son, brother, partner, dear friend and esteemed colleague to everyone that knew him.

“Jivan worked as a Modelling Analyst.

“Jivan left a lasting impression with whomever he crossed paths, young and old alike.

“He lived a life of determination, ambition, joy and laughter. He was a loving, caring son.

“He had a zest for life and adventure, whether it be skydiving, swimming with sharks or a beautiful ride on his motorbike

“His spirit lives on through all the hearts he has touched.

“All the family members and friends will greatly miss Jivan very much.”

Police are still appealing for anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
