Family of Canadian teenager murdered in Chelmsford pay tribute
Ashley Wadsworth is being remembered for her “spontaneous, witty, kind personality” and “unforgettable laugh”.
The family of a Canadian teenager who was murdered in Chelmsford earlier this month have called her "spontaneous, witty and kind".
19 year old Ashley Wadsworth died after being stabbed at a property in Tennyson Road on February 1st.
Her former boyfriend Jack Sepple, 23, of Tennyson Road, is charged with her murder.
In a tribute released today, her family described how the teen, from Vernon in British Columbia, was 'precious' and was “fiercely loving and loyal to her family and friends.”
Older sister Hailey says she will always treasure Ashley as her “best friend”.
Niece Paisley called her Ashley the "best aunty ever". Ashley saved her own money to buy her a swing set.
Ashley had a passion for travel and spoke three languages (English, French and Spanish.) She dreamed of becoming a lawyer and had been accepted into Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC.
The family have paid tribute to the people of Chelmsford, in particular the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a family who organised a vigil in her memory.
“It has touched us so deeply, there are truly no words to express our gratitude.
“They were able to do something for Ashley that we couldn’t, and we will be forever thankful.
“How lucky are we to have people from across the world care so much about a family that they have never met?”
