Colchester Borough Council is undertaking a survey of visitor satisfaction for Castle Park and High Woods Castle Park.

Once every two years, the parks team undertake a survey of customers visiting the parks and are encouraging those coming over the next few weeks to take a few minutes to complete the questions as part of their visit.

The feedback and information are important and will help inform how the council manages these spaces in the future.

Cllr Beverley Oxford, Portfolio Holder for Communities at Colchester Borough Council, said:

“We want to provide the very best experience for all our visitors to our parks. For this reason, we undertake this focused visitor survey every two years.

“The results of the surveys will be used to help us plan for the future and make sure that these areas continue to meet the needs of the community. I would encourage all visitors to complete the survey during their next visit.”

Park visitors can fill out the survey by scanning a QR code on posters around Castle Park and High Woods Country Park, it’s a quick and easy way to have your say. The council’s Park Ranger team will also be out and about in the parks with a copy of the survey for visitors to complete.

Copies are also available at the High Woods Country Park Visitor Centre and Castle Park Rangers Hut.

All surveys must be completed by 20 September 2021.
