Eight charged after drugs raids in south Essex

Eight people have been charged after a series of dawn raids in and around Southend yesterday morning.

Specialist officers searched seven properties and five cars in Southend, Benfleet and Rochford early Wednesday, seizing 239 wraps and a lump of suspected Class A drugs.

A small cannabis grow and £25,000 in cash were also located.

The eight are charged as follows, and have appeared at Southend Magistrates Court

• Tyler Mihill, 23, of Lancaster Gardens, Rayleigh: conspiracy to supply cocaine and production of cannabis

• Bailey Mihill, 22, of Lancaster Road, Rayleigh: conspiracy to supply cocaine and production of cannabis

• Kingsley Dennis, 44, of Jackdaw Close, Shoeburyness: conspiracy to supply cocaine

• Eren Karagozlu, 29, of Woodlow, Benfleet: conspiracy to supply cocaine

• Michelle Dennis, 42 of Coleman Street, Southend: conspiracy to supply cocaine

• David Cadge, 30, of Carnarvon Place, Southend: conspiracy to supply cocaine and possession of cannabis

• Danny Giggs, 35, of Portland Avenue, Southend: being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of cannabis

• Daniel Watkins, 38, of Middle Mead, Rochford: being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

A 51 year old woman has been released under investigation. Police say enquiries are ongoing.
