Woman arrested after car hits property in Colchester
A man's been taken to hospital with serious injuries
Police say a woman's been arrested after a car struck a property in Colchester this morning, leaving a man needing hospital treatment for serious injuries.
Officers were called to East Street just before 4am this morning.
Two fire crews from Colchester were also called - they used cutting equipment to release a man trapped in a vehicle.
He was left in the care of the Ambulance service at 4.26am.
Police say the road remains closed and advises drivers to find alternative routes during rush hour this morning.
