Drugs with £10,000 estimated street value seized

Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £10,000 have been seized, after a warrant was carried out as part of an investigation into a drugs line operating in Clacton.

A 31 year-old man from Hackney has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug.

He remains in custody for questioning.

Officers carried out a warrant under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 at an address in Hackney this morning (28 January).

Essex Police have said it was part of an investigation by Operation Raptor North into the Aron drugs line operating in Clacton.
