Almost 40 dogs seized during raid near Colchester

The surviving animals have been left in the care of the RSPCA

Police have seized 37 dogs and puppies during a search warrant near Colchester.

They discovered the animals in Langley Green, Feering shortly before 4pm last Friday (9 April).

Sadly, out of the total found, seven puppies were dead and one dog had to put down.

Officers have left the surviving animals in the care of the RSPCA.

A 37-year-old woman from Feering was arrested on suspicion of offences against animals and has since been released under investigation.
