Dirt bike passenger left injured after rider fled from scene of crash in Epping
A 26-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving
Officers investigating a collision in Epping are appealing for witnesses and footage.
On Monday (23 June) at around 7.30pm, a white electric bike and a blue Mercedes were involved in a collision in Garnon Mead, Coopersale.
The bike’s pillion passenger, a boy, sustained a head injury which is not believed to be life threatening.
The rider of the bike, which is believed to be similar to a Surron Ultra B bike, then rode away from the scene.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail until 23 August while police continue their enquiries.
