Cyclist injured in Ardleigh hit-and-run

A man has been injured in a hit-and-run in Ardleigh.

The 65-year-old cyclist was left with minor injuries in the crash on Harwich Road last Wednesday lunchtime.

It happened near to the junction with Coggeshall Road, at around 12.30pm.

The car, no further details, failed to stop at the scene and was last seen heading towards Colchester.

Essex Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the collision, or the car shortly before it happened.

Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact us quoting incident 414 of 6 January.
