Colchester United have relieved Matty Etherington of his Head Coach duties after yesterday's defeat against Gillingham.
Following the U's 1-0 loss to the Kent team, they've confirmed Etherington and the team have now parted company.
In a statement posted on Colchester United's website, they've thanked Matty for his time in charge of their first team and say they'll be making no further comment currently.
