Colchester United appoint new Assistant Head Coach
He's previously had roles with the Wales Ladies team and Notts County
Colchester United have appointed a new Assistant Head Coach - with Richard Thomas moving over from coaching the Welsh Ladies team.
He's also had academy roles at both Watford and Leyton Orient and was a former Assistant Manager at Notts County.
Thomas attended training on Monday and will be working ahead of this weekend's game at Newport County.
Speaking to the Us website, he said: "They've been very welcoming and the strength in depth is appealing."
"There's a number of good players here and a number of good young players here so the balance is really healthy in the squad.
"I can only see positive things ahead and it was a straightforward decision."
