Special constables have been carrying out disruption patrols in Colchester.

It comes after reports of anti-social driving and behaviour at Stane Park in Tollgate.

Officers have said they "noticed a number of vehicles driving and people acting in an anti-social manner" while they were out and about.

They issued three community protection warnings and three warnings to anti-social drivers.

Officers will also be taking action against another 22 vehicles who were seen "driving erratically in the area at the time".

Late last year the force installed signage warning those who gather to act responsibly.

The drivers are being warned and educated around the use of their vehicle, but if they ignore the warnings, police have said they are "likely to be punished".
