Offensive messages have been scratched into cars in Clacton and it's being treated as a hate crime.

Essex Police say cars were damaged in St Osyth Road overnight between 6th & 7th April.

They are treating this as a racially-motivated hate crime.

It was reported a dark grey Mercedes E Class and a blue BMW M2 were damaged.

Officers are treating the incident as targeted.
