The Clacton Airshow continues into its second day

The Clacton Airshow is continuing into its second day. The Red Arrows will be opening the show at 1pm.

Thousands are expected on the Essex seafront, hoping to catch a glimpse at the aerial displays.

Event Organiser, Jessica Bryan, said: "We start our flying displays at 1 o'clock with the Red Arrows, which is going to be a true spectacle in the sky."

"It's going to be a real fan favourite and something to look forward to."

"The Red Arrows do bring an air of magic, and we welcome them back when we are able to."

Gloria, who has seen the Clacton Airshow her entire life, said: "It brings money into Clacton."

"It's just nice to see everyone here."

"It is important, otherwise your little town goes away doesn't it, you lose your shops and everything."
