Fire Investigators haven't been able to establish the cause of a fire in Mundon, where two crews have remained overnight.

Essex County Fire and Rescue Service (ECFRS) were called to New Hall Lane just after 10:30am yesterday morning, where a large commercial building was on fire.

8 crews attended the scene at the peak of the blaze, with residents near by asked to keep their windows closed due to a large amount of smoke.

The incident was scaled down at 2:30pm, with two crews later left overnight to finish damping down the final hotspots.

Fire investigations took place yesterday afternoon, but ECFRS say the cause of the fire 'could not be determined'.
