Woman dies after bungalow fire in West Mersea

A woman has died on Kingsland Road, West Mersea following a fire.
Essex Police have confirmed that a woman in her 70's has died following a bungalow fire on Kingsland Road in West Mersea.
The first service contacted them shortly before 11am this morning (30/06).
At this stage her death is being treated as unexplained, but it is not believed to be suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
Officers are working with fire investigators to establish the cause of the fire.
