All aboard the Bucket and Spade Train in north Essex

Every child will be given a bucket and spade

People will soon be able to board a Bucket and Spade Train in Essex.

The decorated train will leave Colchester at 9.56am and arrive at Walton on the Naze at 10.49am, where people can enjoy the beach, town and pier.

Every child will get a bucket and spade.

There will also be activities packs and competitions to take part in along the journey.

It will be running on the following dates:

Tuesday, 27 July

Tuesday, 10 August

Tuesday, 24 August

Tickets cost £5 per adult and £3 per child (aged 1 to 13). Children under 1 year travel free.

Passengers can return on any train.
