Braintree man charged with cocaine offences

A Braintree man has appeared in court charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, after an investigation by neighbourhood policing officers from Essex Police.
Luke Freeland, 30, of Perryfields, was arrested in the town’s Springwood Drive on 8 August by a response officer from Braintree and Uttlesford Local Policing Team.
He appeared before Colchester magistrates on 9 August and his case was adjourned until 8 September 2025 for a plea and trial preparation hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
