A teenage boy has been left permanently blinded in one eye after a serious assault in Clacton earlier this year.

He was found unconscious in the middle of Pier Avenue at around 1am on July 31.

It's believed he was involved in a fight earlier the same evening outside the Jennings betting shop.

Police are still trying to trace three people in connection with what happened and are still urging any witnesses to come forward.
