Bomb disposal unit called out to Essex village

An unexploded WWII ordnance was found on Tuesday morning

An unexploded World War Two Ordnance has been blown up just outside Colchester.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit were called out to Nayland Road in Great Horkesley yesterday morning.

Officers detonated the device in the middle of a field.

They say it was dealt with safely.
