Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision
It was on Friday night.
A man has died following a collision on the A133 in Great Bentley on Friday.
Police received reports of a pedestrian on the carriageway shortly after 8pm.
A short time later the force received a further call reporting the man had been in collision with a vehicle.
Officers attended the scene and found the man with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital but, sadly, died Saturday morning.
Acting Detective Sergeant Rob Andrews, from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“My thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died at this very difficult moment.
“We are working to give them the answers about what happened and we are beginning to build a picture of what led up to the collision.
“I also want to thank the members of the public who tried to help the man.”
If you saw anything, have CCTV, dash cam, or other footage, or any other information please contact police.
