Another person has been arrested over an event on New Year's Eve in Essex.

A 39-year-old man from Rainham was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Tuesday 12 January.

He remains in custody.

It follows an unauthorised music event at All Saints Church in East Horndon on New Year’s Eve.

It was attended by hundreds of people in breach of the Government’s COVID-19 regulations.

A 35-year-old man from Romford, also arrested on Tuesday 12 January, on suspicion of burglary, has been released under investigation.

Four people were previously arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been released under investigation while we continue our enquiries.
