Medical equipment stolen from ambulance in Southend

It was taken whilst paramedics treated a patient

Essex Police are appealing for witnesses after medical equipment was stolen from the back of an ambulance in Southend.

Paramedics were looking after a patient incident the Ambleside Social Club around midnight on 30th October when the vehicle was broken into.

A bag containing medical equipment, books, house keys and a stethoscope was stolen by a man who then headed towards Southend city centre.

The suspect was wearing a red hoodie and riding a bicycle.

Officers are now asking anyone with information, CCTV or dash cam footage to come forward.
