Essex Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a crash between a pedestrian and an ambulance in Basildon.

Emergency services were called to Nethermayne, at the junction with Ashdon Way around 11:45pm on Saturday (February 17).

The ambulance collided with the pedestrian - a man in his 50s - who suffered facial injuries, which aren't thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made by Essex Police say the ambulance driver is "helping officers with their enquiries".
