Motorcyclist killed after A414 collision

A motorcycle collided with a car near the junction of Radley Green Road

A man in his 40s has died after a collision between his motorcycle and a car.

Essex Police were called to the A414, near the junction of Radley Green Road towards Ongar, at around 7.10am on Wednesday 16 July.

The ambulance service and air ambulance attended to access injuries.

Very sadly, the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, from Witham, died at the scene.

A road closure was in place while work continued at the scene, this has now been lifted.
