A13 closed as Police attend serious collision

Essex Police had to close part of the A13 last night whilst dealing with a serious collision.

They were called alongside other emergency services to just past the Orsett Cock roundabout on the London-bound carriageway at around 8:25pm last night (July 20).

At the time of road closure, officers said that it was likely to remain closed for "some time" and a diversion was put in place, as well as members of the public being asked to avoid the area and plan journey's through other routes.

Police are also appealing for dash cam footage, which should be reported to officers quoting incident 1462 of 20 July.
