A man has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A12 in Essex.

All lanes have now reopened, but there are still long delays after the two-vehicle accident.

Firefighters helped rescue a person trapped in their vehicle.

The stretch northbound between J24 (Kelvedon north) and J25 (Marks Tey/A120) was shut earlier, according to Essex Travel.
