80-year-old seriously injured in Rettendon crash

Two cars and van collided on Sunday morning

Officers in Essex have launched an appeal for witnesses and information after a three vehicle crash in Rettendon.

On Sunday May 12th, at around 8:30am, officers were called to the A132 at Rettendon Turnpike roundabout, where two cars and a van had crashed.

The two cars were in collision at the roundabout and then one of the cars was in collision with the van on the opposite carriageway.

A driver in his 80s, was seriously injured, but his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the scene.
