27-year-old dies after fatal crash in Chadwell St Mary
The collision happened between a moped and bus on New Years Eve
A man has died following a crash on New Years Eve in Chadwell St Mary.
The collision occurred on Sunday evening (December 31) at the junction of Chadwell Hill and Brentwood Road, between a bus and a moped.
A 27-year-old man has died as a result of the incident, no arrests have been made so far.
Road closures were put in place after the incident just before 6:30pm, including closures in nearby Adelaide Road in Tilbury.
The roads reopened yesterday morning (January 1) and police enquiries are continuing.
Officers say they've taken several witness accounts which are assisting their enquiries, and are appealing for any information CCTV of dash cam footage related to the incident.
