A 19 year old girl has been named locally as the victim of a fatal crash on the M25 over the weekend.
Andrina Everett, is described as a loving daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend.
A tribute online from her boyfriend William Critchell reads that she was riding her motorcycle to meet friends in London on the night of April 14, 2024, when she was struck by an SUV.
The impact resulted in catastrophic injuries, claiming Andrina's life instantaneously.
"Andrina was the second of four siblings, a loving daughter, sister, fiancée, and a wonderful friend to so many people," a tribute reads. "She loved riding her motorbike everywhere and couldn’t go one night without riding around enjoying the freedom she had."
"No words how much I love this girl, she was the best thing ever to happen to me and always made me smile. Waking up to her every morning was like I was in heaven and waking up this morning after crying myself to sleep was just a cold bed with no one, just the indent of where her head used to lay".
"I’m happy I got to meet her and be with my sole mate for the very little amount of time we had together. I’ll see you in heaven soon where I can finally hug you again".
Essex Police received reports of the collision at around 11:40 p.m. at the Mardyke Junction. Despite efforts by paramedics at the scene, Andrina succumbed to her injuries. The roundabout at junction 30 of the M25 was closed for several hours as emergency services worked, reopening at approximately 10:30 a.m. the following morning.
Two 18-year-old men from Essex have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the incident.
Prior to the collision, the vehicle involved had been pursued by Kent Police. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is conducting an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the pursuit, following a mandatory referral by Kent Police to the IOPC.
To support Andrina's family in raising funds for funeral costs and to provide her with the best send-off possible, a fundraising page has been established by her fiancé with the assistance of her closest friends and family.
