19-year-old arrested after man stabbed in Braintree
The man who was arrested yesterday remains in police custody
A 19-year-old man is in custody after being arrested when a man was stabbed in Braintree on Wednesday evening (August 16).
Essex Police are appealing for information after they were called to Market Place to the serious assault, where a man was found with stab wounds and serious injuries to his hand, at around 9pm.
Yesterday, they arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, and he remains in custody.
The victim of the assault was taken to hospital.
Any witnesses or those with information are asked to contact police.
