I'm A Celeb bosses change rules for bushtucker trials
Gone are the days of one celeb being voted for every trial!
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! returns to our TV screens on Sunday 16th November, as hosts Ant and Dec welcome this year's celebs into the Australian jungle. With famous names such as Martin Kemp, Angry Ginge and Jack Osbourne signing up, fans can't wait to see them partake in the gruesome Bushtucker trials!
However, it sounds like things are going to be a bit different this year, as bosses have introduced a new rule surrounding the trials, which will stop one celeb constantly being voted to win the stars.
As fans of the show will know, over the years, viewers have had full control as to which celeb takes part in the daily trials, with former camp mates like Matt Hancock, Adam Thomas, Helen Flanagan and Gillian McKeith raking in the votes.
What is the new Bushtucker trial rule?
During the 2025 series of I'm A Celeb, bosses are introducing a limit, meaning a celebrity cannot be voted for more than two consecutive trials.
A spokesperson for the show said: "Show bosses are keen to give all campmates the opportunity to shine in Bushtucker Trials this year and are bringing in a new rule that after a celebrity has been voted for TWO trials in a row, they cannot be voted for one on the next day.
"This new rule means the responsibility for winning food is shared amongst more of the campmates.
"More campmates will have an opportunity to step up and play their part with viewers getting a chance to get to know them more, it's their chance to shine."
What trials will be on the new series?
Although ITV/STV bosses have confirmed which trials will feature on the upcoming series, fans can expect to see the usual tough journey into camp during the launch show.
Gruesome eating trials are also set to return, and it sounds like Greatest Hits Radio presenter Martin Kemp is very much up for them! Speaking to fellow presenter Kate Thornton before heading over to Australia, Martin said: "I'm a veggie at home. I'm going to switch my veggie brain off for a while, and if they ask me to eat a kangaroo's anus, I will.
"I don't have a problem with it. I'm not using any get outs, I'm using get ins, I want them to choose me for those rotten trials. I want them to choose me to do all of that eating stuff because I want to experience it. What's the point of going in there, staying on your camp bed with your sleeping bag over your head? I want to be part of it, I want to experience the full thing.
"If they serve that anus up on a plate, I will eat it."
The famous Celebrity Cyclone is also set to return, just days ahead of the 2025 final.
