Emmerdale's Danny Miller posts tribute after Ryan Hawley's final scenes
They play on-screen husbands
Emmerdale viewers have been left devastated after actor Ryan Hawley's final scenes as Robert Sugden aired this week. After announcing his departure in the summer, Ryan's exit storyline has been manifesting over the past few weeks surrounding the horrific rape of his sister, Victoria.
Following the discovery of what happened to her, Robert went after her attacker, and accidentally killed him - leading to him receiving a life sentence in prison. He then decided to block anyone from visiting him after being transferred to another prison, and so will never see his husband, Aaron Dingle, again.
Aaron actor Danny Miller has now taken to Instagram to pay tribute to his on-screen husband, sharing a photo of the pals on his profile with the caption, 'What a pleasure the last 5 years has been. An incredible actor & a beautiful man.
'To share the laughs, the screen & an iconic soap partnership with you has been nothing other than an honour brother! Aaron lost his husband. I lose a good friend. Farewell for now, my man ❤️ #Robron #loveislove @emmerdale #emmerdale.'
Fans were left completely floored by the emotional tribute, with many taking to the comments section to share their feelings. One wrote, 'It won’t be the same without this iconic couple 💔', as another added, 'So devastated it ended like this 😭😭 whyyyy can Aaron never be happy!' and one other commented, 'So gutted, I loved aaron and Robert together. ❤️'
