EastEnders spoilers: Mitch is determined to uncover Gray’s secret

He’s been abusing Chantelle for months

EastEnders viewers have watched Gray and Chantelle Atkins’ domestic abuse storyline in horror and next week Mitch Baker begins to do some digging.

It all begins with Gray struggling as he’s forced to drop representing Whitney. Later, Mitch overhears that Gray was in a hotel and automatically assumes he’s having an affair.

Mitch is determined to discover the truth – but what will he find?

Meanwhile Jean Slater tries to figure out if Suki Panesar is lying, Jay Brown practices proposing and Linda Carter is left hurt by her hubby Mick Carter.

Elsewhere Rainie’s past comes back to haunt her, Keegan Baker tries to reassure Tiffany Butcher and Denise Fox tries to help Patrick Trueman and Isaac make amends.

EastEnders spoilers: Monday 9th – Friday 13 March 2020

The week begins with Chantelle comforting hubby Gray after he receives his belongings from his office.

Gray can't bear to tell Whitney what's happened and instead heads over to The Vic. He warns his wife not to tell her parents and when Chantelle sense his mood she asks Karen Taylor to babysit the kids.

Later, when Gray discovers that his firm has dropped Whitney's case he takes his anger out on his wife. Chantelle comes up with a solution – represent Whit without his firm.

The next day, Chantelle tells her husband she'll be able to return to work soon but she's not prepared for when he tells her he's going to try and win his job back but representing Whitney.

Kheerat Panesar offers Chantelle a job but she's declines, however she's later left devastated when Denise Fox admits she doesn't need her to work full time anymore.

Mick Carter, Mitch, Isaac, Patrick and Jack Branning all enjoy winding each other up but when Jack mentions he saw Gray going into a hotel, Mitch is left intrigued.

Mitch then quizzes his son-in-law – which results in Gray being furious. Chantelle is quick to calm her husband down…

Meanwhile Mitch tells Karen he thinks Gray is cheating on their daughter. Despite Karen rubbishing his claims, Mitch is determined to discover what's really going on…

Chantelle is stressed about getting a job and decides to accept Kheerat's offer. Meanwhile Mitch plans to follow his son-in-law.

Despite Chantelle telling him to back off, Mitch calls Gray's office but gets the shock of his life when he discovers he's been suspended.

When Mitch catches up with Gray he tells him he knows everything and offers his son-in-law some money… He's unaware that Gray is fuming.

Gray returns home and explodes at Chantelle – thinking she told her dad about his job. Mitch tells Karen, Bernadette Taylor and Tiffany and they decide to throw Gray a surprise part at The Vic.

Mitch then apologises to his son-in-law for doubting him but Gray is left mortified when he discovers Chantelle didn't tell anyone… Back at home Chantelle recovers.

Meanwhile on the Square, as Jean continues to convince Shirley Carter that she's still taking her medication, she tries to discover if Suki is lying about her illness or not.

Jean invites Suki to a cake sale and manages to catch the newbie out when she issues her a warning.

At The Vic Jean accuses Suki of lying again and although Kheerat, Jags Panesar, Vinny Panesar and Ash Panesar are all disgusted it quickly becomes clear that a few of them have their suspicions.

At home Kheerat decides to call Suki's bluff – will she confess or continue to lie?

When Lexi Pearce spots Jay with an engagement ring he's forced to ask her to keep it a secret.

He later practices proposing to Lexi but when Lola Pearce arrives they quickly cover.


Following a romantic lunch together, Jay proposes to Lola - what will she say?

Over to the Carter household and although Linda has been trying to stay sober, Mick is still concerned.

Later he decides to search through The Vic to ensure that she's gotten rid of all her hidden alcohol.

However when Linda catches him she's left hurt that he doesn't trust her.

When a former client of Rainie's arrives at Coker's, Stuart Highway is quick to reassure her. Later at Walford East thing take a turn for the worse when Rainie and Linda snipe at each other.

Linda's words set Rainie back when she opens up to Stuart about her past… Later, Stuart is feeling lost but following a catch with Callum Highway and overhearing Jay and Lola, he plans to propose to Rainie.

Tiffany feels left out as Iqra Ahmed and Keegan work on their loan application. Following a conversation from Iqra, Keegan reassures Tiff about their future.

When Patrick tells Denise he thinks Isaac hates him, she decides to cheer him up by buying him a new hat.

At The Vic when Isaac overreacts, Patrick urges him to calm down but he's not prepared for Isaac's harsh words.

Sheree Trueman berates Isaac for his attitude towards Patrick but when Denise overhears it dawns on her that it's the anniversary of Isaac's father's death.

Denise then persuades Jack to set up more drinks to help Patrick and Isaac make amends.

Tiffany and Keegan Baker gets burgled but when the latter tries to stop them he ends up getting arrested.

Peter Beale gives Ian Beale the cold shoulder after believing he’s responsible for Dennis Rickman’s death – will Ian be able to change his son’s mind?

Suki Panesar’s lies begin to unravel, Bex Fowler plans to go travelling, Lola Pearce has a huge bombshell and Linda Carter struggles with her demons

Plus, Whitney has her bail hearing but things aren’t looking good and her lawyer Gray Atkins begins to lose his cool…

Elsewhere it’s time for Kush Kazemi to plead guilty or not guilty after pushing Leo off the balcony.
