Next week on Coronation Street, things are hotting up (again) between Bethany Platt and Ryan Connor after she lands him a gig at a nightclub in town.
With Ryan's DJ career taking off again, he's also caught the eye of Ayla Nazir, but after asking her out on a date feels guilty when he shares an intimate moment with Bethany, and realises he still cares for her.
Mary Taylor grows ever more suspicious of Freda Burgess when she finds her trying to sell Norris Cole's house, even accusing her of murdering him for his money!
But when none other than Norris himself jumps out of a taxi in front of number 4, Mary is stunned – especially when he tells her that he and Freda are engaged, and he wants a divorce so that they can marry.
Sophie Webster feels betrayed when her mum Sally tells her that she and lawyer Paula Martin are back in touch, and are going for lunch at the Bistro tomorrow.
Sophie declines Sally's invite to join them, but when she and Paula run into each other later on, it's clear the chemistry is still fizzing.

In the moment, Paula invites Sophie along to a pony trekking holiday she's going to in Spain. When Sophie agrees and brings Paula over to the house, Sally is thrilled to see their back together.

And it seems like Tim is finally getting on board with Sally's healthy lifestyle regimen, as he proudly shows off his new gym gear and suggests they go for a power walk together.

Nick Tilsley is taken into police custody after Toyah Battersby finds the missing Health and Safety report under his mattress.
Nick insists it was planted there, but Leanne Battersby is torn. When Nick is arrested, Leanne rages at Toyah for insinuating that Nick could be in the middle of this.
But suspicions continue to swirl as Shona Ramsey and Sarah Louise Platt both overhear dodgy conversations between Nick and David Platt.
Will he be able to prove his innocence?
Elswhere on the cobbles, everyone is concerned for Peter Barlow has he struggles to look after himself amid the turmoil of losing Carla.
Mary Taylor begins to warm to Jan when he buys her a bunch of flowers to make up for injuring her wrist. But when they head for a friendly drink, will she get the wrong end of the stick?
Gemma Winter feels isolated from everyone, particularly Chesney Brown. Wanting a better life for herself and her baby, she makes plans to leave tow, but Paul Winter chases her down and tries to convince her to stay, telling her she's got friends and family here in Weatherfield.
